In 1989, Siam Syndicate Technology Public Company Limited (SST) was appointed as the sole authorized distributor in Thailand for Indelec (France), a global expert in lightning protection technology.
PrimeR® – Lightning Protection System (ESE) is an Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning protection device manufactured by Indelec (France). It is imported to support international standard lightning protection systems for critical buildings and infrastructure. PrimeR® operates by efficiently triggering an upward streamer when the surrounding electric field intensifies prior to a lightning strike, based on thunderstorm and lightning research principles. This enhances its efficiency in intercepting lightning accurately and rapidly.
The device is designed with a robust structure, capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions and handling high lightning currents. It functions fully automatically without requiring batteries, as it is powered by the natural electric field of the thunderstorm. Furthermore, it complies with the NFC 17-102: 2011 standard and ensures electrical continuity from the lightning rod to the grounding system for maximum safety and reliability in application.
