Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) system, featuring VESDA technology by Xtralis (Ireland), a Honeywell company, is a globally recognized Very Early Warning Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA).
The system operates by continuously drawing air samples through a network of sampling pipes into a central detector to analyze smoke particles at the earliest stages of fire development. It can detect smoke long before it becomes visible to the naked eye, ensuring rapid and highly accurate notifications before severe damage occurs.
The next-generation VESDA-E series offers significantly higher detection sensitivity, supports pinpoint addressability for multiple sampling locations, and provides flexible connectivity and system expandability. It is ideal for mission-critical environments such as data centers, server rooms, control rooms, airports, museums, warehouses, and areas housing high-value assets. Furthermore, the system is fully certified to global standards including UL/ULC, FM, VdS, and CE.
